Mas de Montagnes - 2007
Grape varieties: Grenache (50%) Syrah (40%) and Carignan (10%)
Terroir: Facing the Mont Canigou, highest peak of the western Pyrenees, the vines are planted on hillside terraces which offer breathtaking views. Soil & rock types are diverse, including schist, limestone and granite.
Tasting notes: On the nose typical Grenache raspberry jam aromas. On the palate, the watchword is elegance rather than power, the fine tannic structure and minerality define this wine’s character.
