Wine Flavoured Salt
The Languedoc has a rich diversity of landscapes where the plain contrasts with the mountains. The Languedoc has nearly 260.000 hectares of vines, several natural reserves and a coastline alternating between golden sandy beaches and lagoons.
Chateau Capendu is situated in the Aude, not far from Carcassonne, famous for its medieval city. The wines of Chateau Capendu have won many international awards and their powerful and complex flavours are combined perfectly with the tastes and savours of a busy kitchen.
Sel des Corbieres will enhance any kitchen with its unique freshness and flavour. This Languedocien salt is immersed in wine from Chateau Capendu until it becomes a coloured and scented salt. The resulting salt is dried very slowly until it has the aromatic bouquet of the wine.
The salt mill produces a fine grinding which releases the flavours completely, and can be added prior to, during or after cooking.
White wine flavoured salt.
This salt is flavoured with Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. It perfectly complements poultry dishes, white meats, fish and salads.

Red wine flavoured salt.
This salt is flavoured with Carigan, Grenache and Syrah which colour the crystals a garnet red. It perfectly complements red meats, rich sauces and spicy food.
